MISSION OF DB PERU
To improve the health care knowledge and conditions for the people in the communities on the Napo River in the Loreto Department of Peru, decreasing the need for the people to leave their villages, families and homes for health care in possibly compromised conditions. In addition, to provide aid to special projects for the elderly and for children in other areas of Peru
2010 – BEGINNING OUR 8th YEAR IN ACTION
What began as a simple calling for me to help the gentle people of the Amazon jungle has grown each year to include the wonderful work outlined above.
All of the work of DB Peru is done by volunteers. There is no paid staff.
The Directors, Renzo Peña as Vice President, and Diana Bowie as President are all volunteers.
All administrative costs are donated separately
This means that
All monies donated go directly to the people and the work of providing better access to health care for the people in the Peruvian Amazon.
All Special Projects have their own budgets.
THANK YOU
A huge thank you to all of you who have given your support
with your keen interest, ideas, contacts, follow-up, donations, money and time.
More than 5000 people have been directly touched by your support this year.
